Cashen is the leading Canton Coin Locking Marketplace on Canton Network, where Featured Apps lock CC for CIP-116 compliance, Super Validators lock CC for CIP-105 compliance, and institutional CC holders earn fixed yield with no principal credit risk while retaining full custody of their CC.

Each deal is bilaterally negotiated and fixed at origination. Terms include the CC amount, fixed APR, minimum lock period, recall notice period, and a breach rate that applies if a recall is not resolved in time. Deals are posted to the marketplace and can be amended in real time.

Interest accrues per Canton Network round (approximately every 10 minutes) and is settled monthly via off-platform invoice, with fully onchain settlement coming in Phase 2. Live accruals are visible on your dashboard at all times. Cashen's platform fee (10% of interest) is paid out of the supplier side. Featured App only pay the deal APR

Onboarding onto Cashen follows a two-step process. In the first step, prospective counterparties submit their interest and KYB documentation against Cashen's KYB requirements. Once KYB is cleared, the parties sign the Cashen Network Participation Agreement (NPA). Once the NPA is executed, the counterparty gains access to the marketplace and can begin listing, matching, or supplying deals.

The NPA is a platform-wide agreement signed by every counterparty on Cashen. Cashen is not a legal counterparty to any deals executed on the marketplace. The same NPA governs all participants who operating on Cashen, and it cannot be modified for any single participant. This is what makes bilateral matching possible at institutional speed, and maximizes lock continuity and substitution liquidity in the event of a recall.
